Daniel Hall
Based in Brisbane, Australia Daniel is a highly skilled, passionate and experienced Architect. He loves creating architecture that has a significant impact on those who live, work or visit; architecture that enhances your life on a daily basis
He has been a practicioner of architecture for over 18 years and a registered Architect for over 12 years. During this time he has developed extensive skill in award-winning residential architecture and designed for large-scale retail, office, hospitality, childcare, forensic science and physical containment laboratories, education, recording studios, makers/fabrication studios, multi-res and more.
Whilst working at Bligh Graham Architects, Daniel developed his passion for creating bespoke single dwellings of a high calibre for over 10 years (Check them out here - they do excellent work!). More recently, he has been project Architect for Bligh Graham on a complex 48 bed specialist aged care facility.
Daniel takes a keen interest in both the conceptual design process and the realised bulit work - creatively engaging with early, broad design conversations all the way through to the small details of their resolution during a build - being well able to traverse the journey between these two ends of the spectrum and showing critical judgement when synthesising these ideas with construction knowledge and cost.
“Most of all though, good architecture is about people. Humans are endlessly fascinating, complex and unique. Understanding people, their communities, environments and cultures is the basis from which architecture is produced. At its heart, people are who architecture is for!”
